MagMUG Launch

We are pleased to announce the launch of MagMUG – the Magento Melbourne Users Group! If you are a Magento store owner, user, administrator or developer, or would just like to know more about Magento and the other people using it in the Melbourne area, then we invite you to join the group and participate. At this stage the plan is for the group to meet every two months to discuss topics relating to Magento, ranging from technical presentations to business integration strategies. The format will be a one hour meeting with two to three presentations.
We are currently finalising a date and venue for the inaugural meeting and invite offers to present in this meeting or suggestions on topics to be covered. Please leave a comment with your thoughts and if you are interested in attending.

Hey Chris,
Sounds like a great idea. I’d be up for it. Currently have a couple of magento projects in the pipeline, but still quite new to it all.

Would like to attend and would tray and coincide one of my frequent business trips to Melbourne to attend. Wherever the venue is it would ge great if parking is nearby. (Hint: Not in CBD)
